Richa is dedicated to nurturing creativity in every student, regardless of age or skill level. Her teaching philosophy centers on personalized instruction within a supportive, encouraging environment. She believes that art is not just about technique but about self-expression, confidence, and finding joy in the creative process. She spent over 13 years as a certified art instructor in the United States, teaching with the Everett Public Schools and the Arlington Public Schools in Massachusetts, and has now returned to India to resume her art classes here. With experience teaching hundreds of students, she adapts her approach to help each individual discover their unique artistic voice.

Everything you need to know about our art classes.

We teach students of all ages starting from 5 years old. Our classes are divided into Kids (5-12), Teens (13-17), and Adults (18+). Each group has a curriculum designed specifically for their developmental stage and learning goals.

Basic materials are provided for drop-in classes. For regular classes, we provide a list of recommended materials. We guide you on where to purchase quality supplies at reasonable prices. Some basic materials like sketchbooks and pencils are good to have from the start.

Each class is 1 hour long — enough time for instruction, practice, and individual feedback without fatigue.

We offer two batches:

  • Morning batch: Monday to Friday, 10:00 – 11:00 AM
  • Evening batch: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 4:30 – 5:30 PM

We cover a wide range including pencil drawing, sketching, watercolor painting, acrylic painting, oil pastels, mixed media, calligraphy, and creative art. Students can explore different mediums or focus on one they love.

Classes are held at our studio: Radha Vishweshvar, Narsing Lane, Malad (W), Mumbai 400064. We are easily accessible from Malad station and the surrounding areas.

Yes! We offer a drop-in class so you can experience our teaching style and studio environment before committing. It's a great way to see if we're the right fit for you or your child.

We keep our class sizes small (6-8 students maximum) to ensure each student receives personalized attention and guidance. This allows us to tailor our instruction to individual learning pace and style.
